Album Launch: IDENTIKIT "Out of the Floodways and Into Your Homes"

Hear ye, hear ye! Another great band finally launches their debut album:

After one EP and years of live shows, Manila-based indie rock band Identikit finally launches their debut album, Out of the Floodways and Into Your Homes. The band has been making a name for itself in the indie music scene in the past years, and with their EP Saturday Morning Chemistry being recognized by Philippine Star as Best EP and filmmaker Quark Henares dubbing them as the music love-child of Up Dharma Down and Urbandub, you know this is one event you wouldn't want to miss.

To get you into the mood, here's a little preview. Take a listen to the first single off Identikit's album, Me and My Japanese Bike. The track displays a more intense punk rock guitar structures than the what we're usually used to from the band, but Sandy Buladaco's creamy, hypnotic vocals keeps us familiar and hitting that replay button again and again.

Happening on February 2nd (that's a Saturday in sunny Manila) at Cubao X (where the cool kids make merry), the launch will be fronted by other great local acts such as Gaijin, Flying Ipis, Tether, Lochness and Paranoid City. Get your kicks and change for beer ready. SEE YOU THERE.
