Happening on January 25th 2014 is the 4th installment of the South East Asian leg of St. Jerome's Laneway Festival. Originally starting out as an indie music event in Melbourne, Australia in 2004, Laneway Fest rose to fame to much quick acclaim, making it the huge annual indie music fest it is now, being attended by music lovers from all over the world. Spreading out in more cities in Australia since the year it started, in 2011, the festival expanded to take over Asia, finding its home in vibrant Lion City--Singapore.
Taking place at Gardens By The Bay, the venue will be backdropped by one of Singapore's greatest prides, the architectural beauty that is Marina Bay Sands.
Headlined by Chvrches, Daughter and Haim, Laneway fest 2014 line-up also includes James Blake, Jamie XX, Kurt Vile, Youth Lagoon, and Frightened Rabbit, which incidentally, is the first band we ever wrote about here on WFSS. Isn't that cool? Here's what we wrote about them.
